A National Headquarters for the Development and Promotion of the Culture of Nahj al-Balagha is planned in Iran, the Quran and Etrat Deputy of the Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry said.

AhlulBayt News Agency: A National Headquarters for the Development and Promotion of the Culture of Nahj al-Balagha is planned in Iran, the Quran and Etrat Deputy of the Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry said.

Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Reza Arbab Soleimani said the secretariat of the headquarters has started operating and will hold its first session ahead of Eid al-Ghadir.

Undoubtedly, Nahj al-Balagha is a book of insight that needs to be revisited in the contemporary world and can teach people the right way of life in all spheres, he stated.

The executive secretary of the International Ghadir Foundation at the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance referred to the recent recommendation of the Leader of the Revolution to the country’s cultural activists and said the Leader, on the first day of this year, recommended the study and teaching of Nahj al-Balagha.

It is the duty of everyone, especially the cultural and religious institutions, to provide the ground for the realization of this important thing in the country, Hojat-ol-Islam Arbab Soleimani emphasized.

He added that in recent weeks, the Culture Ministry’s Quran and Etrat Deputy has been trying to play a constructive role in advancing this demand by forming specialized working groups and using the opinions of experts and activists in this field.

He said the creation of a widespread, inclusive, and popular movement to promote and teach the knowledge and culture of Nahj al-Balagha has been the main and serious strategy of the Quran and Etrat Deputy this year.

The establishment of the National Headquarters for the Development and Promotion of the Culture of Nahj al-Balagha is aimed at activating, coordinating, and synergizing all governmental and popular capacities, he went on to say.

Nahj al-Balagha is a collection of sermons, letters and sayings left as a memorial from the Imam Ali (AS). The book was compiled by Sayed Radhi over a thousand years ago.
